THE WAPPING GROUP OF ARTISTS SHOW
THE WAPPING GROUP OF ARTISTS: LONDON AND ITS RIVER
This well-known and popular group paints en plein air, meeting every week between April and September to work on location recording the life of London and the Thames. The exhibition features familiar haunts such as Henley and Richmond, through all of riverside London and as far out as Faversham and Maldon. The members’ work is a perpetual delight of tideway and riverbank, sunlight and showers, boats and architecture. About 100 works in various media, many completed entirely on location. All works for sale and at affordable prices.
